Do NU fans have any reason to expect us to win against any of the opponents on our schedule.

#1. Every team has an S&C program.
#2. Every team pays hundreds of thousands or millions to coaches.
#3. Every team gets the same # of scholarships.
#4 Every team had the same length of fall camp
#5. Every team has "nice" facilities
#6. Every team has a nutrition and health staff

I find it more than a bit disrespectful to forget that every team has upwards of 150 people who work their asses off to prepare for a college football season and individual games. This is a competition and all of the participants are deeply competitive. Rule changes have made the game more competitive and provided more balance. If a coach makes 5 million does that mean his team is going to be better than a coach that makes 1.5 million...they are both one of the highest paid in their state. Our fans looked at the Colorado Buffs and saw a pathetic team, and I saw a team that played with passion and poise and had a great time. The same goes for USA and Northern Illinois. I relish in the competition and enjoy watching my favorite team have a chance to lose and many times they do. I will enjoy this next Saturday because we might lose and we might win. That is the point of competition.
