Very well stated.... Many of us will flip the middle finger to the OGBOT... Supposed leaders and when PSU needed them most they stuck their heads in the sand and all became about self preservation. Disgusting ... business schools should put their names in lectures and books as an example of how not to manage a crisis. To think those chowderheads were running large corporations and on many boards makes me scared to think how they manage those companies.

The people today do not understand what it was like to be a Penn State fan in the late sixties and early seventies. You knew you were part of something special. Things were being done for a reason and to support the correct way of living. You could be proud of the performance on and off the field. Fans of other teams knew that, and hated us for it. Being on campus then you would be influenced by what was going on with the football team. Paterno did things right, and when a player chose to ignore that he did not play, even if he was outstanding. There was Joe's way and there was the highway. A great man and an example for us all.

I will never, ever forget having to sit through those f&ing lectures on the big screens at games educating the fans if you see something say something. I thought it was humiliating for this great fanbase. And the whole prayer thing with Nebraska. What an absolute joke.
