Now we wait for TT/OK Winner. They will need to beat us twice, we need one more of the next two to advance to the championship game.

I hope people are starting to get aboard with this team, Monroeer. They are dramatically improved from earlier in the season. That's all we're asking with such a young roster.

I don't follow baseball at all.
I do follow WVU and I got to say that Mazey is doing a pretty good job.

Wouldn't it be something if the first Championship in the Big XII came in baseball, a sport can anyone remember WVU ever winning any Championship in?

When these guys were going through their early to mid season rough patch, Mazey made some drastic changes - actually going to even more of the freshmen. The moves look genius now and should pay dividends for years to come. Not sure why fans want to doubt coaches every time there are losses.

Nothing wrong with fans questioning coaches when it's fair, I certainly do it myself.

In the specific case of Mazey and this year's young roster, I took his role changes to mean he was willing to lose a few midweek games earlier in exchange for perhaps winning some conference series later. That trade-off is worthwhile even if the effort fails, which happily does not seem to be case.

Wasn't meaning the obvious wtf questions from fans wondering why certain decisions are made - was mainly referring to the definitive statements that coaches don't know what they are doing every time things aren't going well.
Listening to some of Mazey's interviews, he wasn't sacrificing games just for the future - he was doing wholesale changes when he felt like lineups were not putting out max effort. He doesn't hesitate to sit the whole starting lineup if needed.

It already came in women's soccer.
