The camera angle at the Boise arena reminds me of the time ESPN thought it would be a good idea to show our game against Mississippi State in 2011 from the overhead camera.

Another I can immediately think of is the Jets-Dolphins game from 1980. The game meant nothing but was broadcast nationally, so to try to get ratings they had an announcer-less game. I remember watching it. It was really, really weird and they never tried it again. Maybe one good thing that came from it is it may have finally occurred to them that it's a good idea to have score and time on the screen all the time.
announcer-less game

Any others?

Yeah. Remember when not every game was not on TV and you had to imagine what it looked like? That was bad.

Check your privileged takes, Glen(n)
Please don't hammer my grammar to prove a point that I readily accept, but check your double negative. Is that your first? Do I win a prize?

Didn't seem as bad as the pre-season UK games or the blue-white game on the SEC network where they put one camera located at the middle of the arena and panned back and forth. Drives me crazy.

In my day, I used to walk up hill, both ways, to listen to a scratchy broadcast of Cawood and Ralph, with antenna closely aimed to the north and the appropriate radio station . . . .

This was in 1991.

Somebody told me many games then were televised.

I now weigh 45 pounds more than I did in 1991.
