- Drew Brown pretty much has the kicking duties locked up. Sutcliffe is looking to do kick off duties.


- Welch, " Mike Riley praising Tommy Armstrong after by far his most efficient practice of Fall Camp. "



- Welch, " Tommy Armstrong during scrimmage today completed over 70% of his passes, TD passes all over, zero turnovers. Extremely efficient. "


- Scholarship guys announced: Hovey, Utter, Trey Foster, Dzuris, Fyfe


- Mckewon," Mike Riley praised Jamal Turner, too. "I'm proud of Jamal. He's the last man standing out there."


- Christopherson, "Riley gave the scrimmage a mixed review. "I would say my biggest concern right now is consistency of running the football." #7 and #98 are tough to block.


-Severe, " Turner was primary punt returner. They practiced several backed up punts to give Turner some run. Fielded them well and got up the field."

it's great to see Tommy turning the corner now that he has expert QB coaching.

Who would have guessed that we'd have one scholarship WR able to go every single practice, and that it would be Jamal Turner? Riley called Turner the "Iron Horse" of the receivers.

Turner deserves to have a good year. As far as I can tell, all he wanted was to be a husker. He has had to deal with a lot. Nothing would be better than to see him stay healthy and kick *** his last year.

I'm so happy for Jamal Turner. First he got dumped into the doghouse blackhole after questioning Martinez's accuracy on throws. Then the injury happen which in hindsight was the best thing that could of happened. Now he has a chance to shine with an honest broker at head coach. Our whole team will thrive under Riley.
