No sources, but I can see TV Williams, Jared Tucker, and a few others who do not get any playing time may leave and go somewhere closer to home that allows them to get on the field.

Contributing player wise, I can see someone like Bone leave. People say he has been underutilized, but his biggest issue is he is slow and cannot get much separation against SEC competition. Now, if KY can somehow use him for jump balls and more end zone fade type of plays then he has a place on the team, but I am not sure he is willing to sit on the bench and only contribute for certain packages only.

RB wise, do not see anyone leaving. Boom and Jo Jo are injury prone. Two freshman coming in. Horton needs to be used the way he was recruited to be used (short yardage and goal line situations). Problem is he is not as physical as once thought, fumble prone, and runs too high. King will see a lot of time as a returner.

Timmons is a probable in my mind. He got some good offers out of HS and does possess excellent speed.

Pure conjecture but will boom and baker both be here? Matt jones said he heard of one other big name we might lose, and im worried its one of these 2...considering boom quit or almost quit or whatever, and baker has been mentioned by many as a lockeroom cancer, i cant help be paranoid. Either woild be a blow but we absolutely cannot lose Boom imo!

If either of those 2 guys were to leave, it would go a long way towards establishing some team unity. I don't know anything, I just know what I see and read. IMO, when Boom quit and CMS talked him into staying, that was a mistake. Let him look around and see what his options are outside of Kentucky. Same for Baker, though I would love to have them both stay, they would have to have a complete attitude adjustment prior to next season.

Hopefully not Timmons. I still have hope that gets it together and becomes a great player. But anyway, at this point, I don't know if it makes a lot of sense to leave. He's only got one year left anyway.

With our OC. Idk why any offensive players would want to stay. I would love for us to keep bone I think he has hella potential but he's severely underused. So he's probably going to leave, sure hope not though. But I mean Dawson is a joke so why stay?

Gotta

Gotta stop putting rhe ball on the ground

This. If Horton leaves because a lack of playing time, it's his own fault. He is way too loose with the football. He had 3 fumbles on 82 carries this year. For his career, he has fumbled the ball 5 times in 141 carries.

Unless he transfers down to somewhere like Eastern it doesn't make sense for Timmons to leave. We need to just use him more as a utility player and not as much as a WR. He doesn't run good routes and is average at best a catching the ball. He's at is best on jet sweeps, screens and toss sweeps.

Timmons biggest fault is he never gets up field. You cant dance like he does and expect to get yards in the SEC.

Why haven't I put you on ignore until now?
Well if you love you some Dawson, then you must really love bad football. Could care less if you love Dawson that's on you man. But when I see a team at the one yard line run up the middle out of the shotgun 3 straight plays and get stopped short from the endzone, THEN on 4th down they decide to go under center and call a QB sneak, then the man obviously has no clue on how to call plays. None. This is the SEC running up the middle out of shotgun doesn't work in this conference. Just my very simple observation that a blind man could probably even see. I find it funny how people get blasted on here if they don't think every single member on the staff is a damn good coach. Some posters on here have some very idiotic logic to put it nicely, you act like if someone doesn't think every single member on the staff is good at what they do, then theyre dumb and don't know football. Did you watch us play this year? And you don't think anyone deserves criticism or better yet getting fired? Yea man the entire staff does a great job and I couldn't be more happy to have them here! How dumb is that?? Just because they coach for Kentucky, DOESNT MEAN THEYRE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO BELIEVE IT OR NOT. The man has never called plays his entire life til coming here. And it showed. Wonder why? And from what I saw he couldn't have been more inept at play calling from beginning to end. What did you see from him that makes you think he's good at what he does? Use your brain once in a while and look past the blue tinted goggles.

You keep saying that Dawson has never called plays. I know that he wasn't the primary play caller at WV, but didn't he call plays at Stephen F. Austin? And do well doing it? I'm not positive, but I thought he did.

I know this, as I said in my last post. It's a different level. Different ball game.

In your last post, you said he has never called plays his entire life til coming here. I read it. You said it. I think you are a contrarian. I am too, so no offense. But you are wrong on this one. Firing Stoops or Dawson put us 2 more years behind. Inertia is a real thing that this team needs a little of. I'm extremely frustrated with UK football. But all of you young guys saying 3 years is enough or 4 years is enough, Brooks did this and Brooks did that, evidently haven't been watching that long. We have sucked my entire time as a fan, which is about 60 years. I don't think giving the best recruiter I remember 5 years is unreasonable.

People say "how did Vandy do it" or "how did Iowa do it" need to watch a while. Mumme did in the short term. There is a difference in having a good team a year or two and building a program that can have success and sustain it. We are trying to build something that is not smoke and mirrors that can succeed and sustain that success.

As much as I agree that Stoops made plenty of mistakes this year, the players' execution was worse than his coaching and cost us more games than his coaching did. I don't see how anyone can call for Stoops to be fired without demanding that Dorian Baker's scholarship be revoked.

I did read up on his resume when he was hired, I do know this. Shouldn't have phrases it the way I did at first. But as I said. This is something he has never done and has no experience in. Things that may have worked at Steve F Austin, aren't going to work in the SEC. I agree that his recruiting is laying a foundation for the future, he has laid out the blueprint for recruiting at UK by hitting Ohio as hard as he can. But I just don't think he's the one to take us to the next level. I think our ceiling with him and this staff is 6-6 at best. In my opinion we're going to need a coach to take over this talent, and actually coach that talent up, and continue hitting Ohio at full force to maintain success.

I truly just don't think stoops has any coaching ability to speak of, he makes awful decisions on and off the field, evident by the inexperienced coaches we have from top to bottom as we still play in the SEC. You think execution cost us more than the coaching? I couldn't disagree more. Execution is very difficult when the play calling is as predictable as it is. Yes we dropped a lot of passes this seasons. We also had about a million overthrows, under throws, and throws behind the receivers. But I've never seen such a predictable offense, no way you can convince me the coaches put them in the right spots to make plays.

Horton came out of the Louisville game because he kept fumbling the ball. I would hate to see him go. I know my kids have heard some grumbling around campus about C.J Conrad being someone that may leave at the end of the semester. I sure hope not, but could you really blame him?
