I've watched most of the first episode and I'm not sure yet. It seems to have high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
Awesome. I know nothing about the game so I feel like that would make it even better.

Never played the game, but the show (6 episodes in) has been tremendous. I wouldn't expect anything less from Jonathan Nolan.
I never played it either but I watched a YouTube video about the game. I was surprised that The Ghoul was not part of the original game. I don’t think he showed up until one of the Later versions.
First episode barely inspired me to watch the second. The second was better, but just so campy that it is detracting to me.
It was entertaining as hell. Hope there will be a season two.
I've played a number of the Fallout series......but not Fallout 1 and 2. I really like the series and think it has done well with the game adaptation.
I think the ghoul is a great character and I would love to encounter someone like him in the games.
As a fan of the franchise from the isometric games to the modern FPS ones, this show may be the best take on a video game series ever. All eight episodes were great.

The games are dope. It's a take on how people in the 1950s would envision the future. Also in the fallout world american culture never evolved past the 50s and the transitor wasn't invented. Due to the resouce war with china. So everything is nuclear powered and vaccum powered. And all the fashion and millitary equipment is 1950s styled. Even the nukes look like the WW2 nukes we dropped on Japan. Despite the year being like 2300.
Watched all 8 episodes. Cannot say I would recommend that show. 5.5-6 out of 10. Not a very good story and a bit scatter brained.
Have you played the games? If you haven't it might skew your opinions of it. I thought it was very entertaining and followed the lore of the game well.
I never played the game and had never even heard of it but found the show hilarious at times and highly entertaining.

I don’t play video games anymore. That said, I really enjoyed the first season of Halo. I don’t think you should need to know the game or have read the book to enjoy a well-constructed show or movie.
Saw it on the app but haven’t watched any of it yet. Saw Boyd Crowder made it through the apocalypse though!
It’s too much of a reach. The writers are being lazy. Urkel would be a good addition
It's based on a game series. The writers naield the show, hence the great reviews from both regular audience members and critics.

Sounds more like this is a matter of choice. I think making a dystopian dramady/satire is a challenge. I thought it was just okay. If it was not renewed, I would understand.
I thought the second season of Halo started slow, but really picked up about episode 3. I have not finished it yet, but it has been good.
Looking forward to Dune Prophesy.
I'm still disappointed in their casting of master chief and their decision to give him a real name.
