It's a fitting punishment, IMO. But I wonder why libs weren't upset when Gov. Jerry Brown refused to follow the law and defend Prop. 8 in court?

I read where Mrs. Davis' son works for her at the clerk's office. I wonder if he will issue any licenses?

According to the news articles, it sounds like the judge gave the rest of the office (ordered to appear as well) a little bit of time to consult with a public defender immediately after Mrs. Davis was taken into custody by Marshals. After that consultation, I'm sure his question will be "Do you intend to issue licenses?"

Five said the would while her son said no but the Judge said he wouldn't hold him in contempt.
