I hate to hear that. They said on the Sources Say Podcast that was live that they were using this year as kind of a trial and error. What worked well and what didn’t. Hopefully they can correct it in the future

I try to be understanding in cases like this but I’ve been going to UK events and signings since I was a little kid with my father. Been traveling with the team that time also. This has been a problem with this administration for decades and they never fix it and they don’t care. They’re entitled and think these players and this program is famous by birth and I doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, you’re not important. Not the coaches or the players. It starts with Barnhart and works its way down.

The problem is they knew, immediately, that there was no way those lines would make it through. I’m telling everyone it was obvious hours before the event started. And they sat back and let people sit there for hour after hour after hour in a line that had possible way through to the auto table.

You had little kids sit there hour after hour after hour after hour then watching everyone getting autographs. Some of them were literally next in line and told no, they can’t go through. Spoke to a gentlemen who drove 3 hours and sat over 5 hours, was about 10 people from going to the table, and was told no. Had his 13 year old son there. It’s inexcusable to me and to many others there. I gave the kid a team signed poster since I had another.

I realize these things can’t be perfect. But understand the lines went back row after row after row after row. It was so many in a snake line you couldn’t count them all from your spot. Why make that line that big? You gave the impression there was a reason to stand back there but there was zero chance the session could reach back that far. Then to see how slow the line was moving and not go back to the rows, the many rows, and tell those people even at that point there’s no way is inexcusable. That made them stand another hour in a half for no reason.

It was bad enough that I hope most of those people just stay away from this kind of thing in the future.

They finally told the hundreds of people who had been there half the day, with FIVE minutes to go until they were stopping, that the players were leaving in 5 minutes. I watched the whole thing go down when I finished in line and was disgusted beyond belief.

The other problem with it is how many people would have left those lines and went and spent some money at the booths that benefits cancer? Hundreds and hundreds of people. I realize I sound unreasonable but this is a constant theme with this administration. How many of those kids who did that won’t even want to go back with their parents. Just makes me sick.

That’s sad and true, how can they not figure out that the time needed for this type thing is gonna be a lot longer than one day event for an hour.

I wrote some more above but it was a full display of what many people that actually travel and deal with this administration feel time after time. No respect, no consideration, just hoard them and throw them away. It’s time after time with these people.

Seems weird to me that anyone who sat there for 5 hours didn’t get an auto. When I got there at about 12:45, the line for autographs was barely a line. Anyone there when it started should have been in the first few rows? I don’t know how many rows got through for signatures, but if it was only one or two, it must have been moving way way way too slow. Just seems odd to me. Now, maybe they didn’t get in line until it was too late? Maybe they were there at the beginning but did other stuff for too long before getting in autograph line?

Yeah that blows, I wouldn’t travel far to deal with that stuff unless I camped out two days early or something. I’m looking for tickets for a game this year and man you can’t find decent tickets to any game under $200 A piece these days. Conference games resell is really crazy for like $700.
