Farmington 2019 DL Jarod DePriest (6-foot-4, 280 pounds) has drawn multiple scholarship offers so far this spring. DePriest checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.

"We got out of school yesterday so today is the first day of summer."

DePriest, who has added multiple scholarship offers this spring discussed what's up next in his recruiting process now that he received several offers.

"Hopefully bigger ones (offers). I'm going to camp this summer and hope that they see what it takes to play at the biggest level (from me)."

So does DePriest have any camp plans set yet?

"I'm camping at Iowa for sure but I'm not positive on any others just yet. I'll do a couple of camps and that's about it. I'm not going to drown myself in camps. I've heard that in the end that's not going to help me."

DePriest is also considering getting out to see a few schools in person as well this summer.

"I'm hopefully going to South Dakota State and North Dakota State soon."

My Take on Jarod DePriest recruiting: DePriest has added a ton of FCS offers along with more MAC level interest and offers so far this spring. DePriest also has drawn attention from several Big Ten and higher level schools, yet like a lot of other kids they all want to see him camp in person. DePriest has a real shot at adding more offers this summer....yet I didn't get the impression that DePriest is planning to go to multiple camps. DePriest could become a really nice steal for schools at the FCS level.
