Fast food Fish sandwich war

I got arby’s 2/$6 last week. not great. a few years ago they had cod sandwiches during lent that were very good.
Culver's is supposed to be one of the best.

McDonald's still at a well deserved zero. That slice of cheese on a filet is the same as ketchup on a steak.
I chose other because the best fast food sandwich is at Staxx bbq in Frankfort. Best non-fast food is cajun style fried catfish sandwich at Ramsey's.

I can choke down a couple of McDonald's Filet-O-Fish just about any time I am hungry and need something quick. Got to be the tartar sauce.
I don’t eat fish, but the wife and son LOVE Moby Dick. Are they outside of Louisville?!!

I'll go with Culver's, especially if you get the Walleye sammidge they serve during Lent.
Their fish sandwich is about all I can eat from McDonalds now. Their burgers all suck, Bacon, Egg and Cheese is good for breakfast.
OP nailed it. Popeyes cajun flounder is the best among major ff chains with Wendy's pacific cod sandwich second imo.
I liked Popeye's well enough but think Arby's is better, McDs is always a good standby and need to try the Wendy's.

Grabbed one myself for lunch today. Not bad, but I think McDs is better for fast food.
As for Charlie's, it's a good fish sandwich but nothing special. Its a large piece of pre-breaded frozen fish, which I personally expect a lot more if I'm going to a fish monger and ordering anything.
There are at least a dozen fish sandwiches in Lexington alone that are better quality.

Yeah thats what they serve there. I worked there over the summer many moons ago. New shipment each morning, dredged in cornmeal. You should try knowing what youre talking about before disparaging a business.

Last time I ate there it was coming out of a box in the freezer.

I put the addition and remodled the interior in 1986.......When Len Linnig was alive....... it was the best fish sandwich anywere in this part of the world......there used to be a Fish and Chips shop in Little Port, England.......he treated me to "specials" because I wore a UK cap........the first time I went in he told me he didn't know much about the US..........but he knew UK basketball had the best all time college program..........I took a hat and shirt to him on my last visit.......he had the best fried haddock sandwich in the whole world........
