Alvin Simpkins ran a legit 40 below 4.3 for the pro scouts in the late 80’s. He was small but fast.Who's the fastest player you've ever seen in a TU uniform? Yes I'm bored.
Damaris was incredibly fast. Every time he touched the ball there was the threat that he would take it to the house. One of the greatest playmakers in Tulsa history.Damarius Johnson
Wasn't Jermaine Landrum very fast? It's been a long time, but seems like he wouldn't get caught from behind.
I recall him sticking the fork in Fresneck St. with about a 40-yarder from Paul Smith for our 1st Liberty Bowl win. Got plenty of separation on that TD pass. Which reminds me of Tarrion Adams(who also put the hurt on Fresno). Not particularly fast, but he would run around you or over you to get the job done. Will never forget him throwing for a TD, catching a TD &, of course, running for a TD...in the same game. I guess my all-time fav as a TU RB. TU Football: 1st,last,always!A guy I remember as being very, very fast was Ashland Davis, a WR and kick returner during tthe Kragthorpe era
