I'm going to chalk up this game to fatigue. After the fast start NU looked like they lost their legs. They scheduled the games so can't blame anyone but the NU staff, but this stretch of 4 games in 7 nights was very unusual and won't occur during Big 10 season.

Rest up, eat some turkey and get ready for NO Saturday.

I'm wondering if we'll see this all year due to our lack of depth at guard. Mac gets out so hot, but he is working so hard with the ball in his hands that I fear he loses his legs in the 2nd half and starts missing those pull-up shots. Dakich may have been a little annoying but he was absolutely correct about one thing.... if NU is to do anything this year, then Scotty Lindsey has to step up and become a scoring option especially in the 2nd half.

It turns out, fatigue WAS an issue. Demps was cramping up after the game and was soaking in an ice bath! Watch the video.
