They should have been favorites in this game. They'll beat K State too, but it might end vs Bama

CUSA
CBI winner Charlotte
NIT winner UAB (in final 4)
NCAA winner FAU (in elite 8)
Watch out for the AAC next year:

Charlotte / UAB / North Texas and FAU all join the American Athletic Conference from Conf USA with some other schools (Rice?)

They replace the schools going to the Big 12: Houston; Cincy; UCF etc.

Will Conf USA have enough schools next year? If not, maybe they can convince St Francis Brooklyn to join its conference....:)

Anybody else run transfer scenarios through their head? I’m trying to dream up a scenario where the FAU coach gets a new gig and the NJ guard transfers to RU.
Jalen Gaffney or Nick Boyd?

Gaffney already transferred once, so might have to sit a year since coaching changes may no longer be valid reasons for a waiver now...

If you're referring to Nick Boyd, I wonder how his family feels about Rutgers, since his uncle (Fred Hill Jr) and Rutgers didn't part ways very amicably, and Hill was a significant person in Boyd's life and basketball career. Maybe all is well now, but I don't know. Not sure if that could be an issue if he should ever decide to transfer.

As for not being a Cinderella , time will tell if this program continues to excell or goes back to being a fairly good team
Next years team might have a new HC , because this years results made him highly desirable for major programs looking for a HC.

FAU looks great so far. They take a back seat to no one. My brother is an FAU graduate, so a little extra excitement for our family.

I'm rooting for the Zags or FAU or SDSU. Just don't want to see another P6 school win it all, especially Miami, KSU, TX, or UConn; could live with Creighton.
