For all the 27 footers he recklessly chucked the past 2 games, I was stunned to see him pass it up at the end. Massoud is a great shooter but you gotta live and die with Nowell there.
I've never seen a team commit so many dumb fouls and then act completely mystified. Totally shot themselves in the foot. They had a real chance to put the game away up 5 late.
The bracket current in the lead on Yahoo still has 3 of his final 4 picks remaining with UCONN beating FAU in the finals.

Yup. Part of it was that most of the SPU Admin were incompetent and took at least three/ four weeks to bask in their E8 run to name the new coach. And they knew Holloway was leaving before the tournament. FDU named their replacement the day after he left for Iona.
FAU’s arena in Boca Raton seats 2900. Pretty much the same capacity as the Barn.
