What's your favorite watering hole, and why should we go there. Feel free to name a few,
Juniors - Albany, NY - A local sports bar that isn't a hole in the wall. A rarity. Bartenders know you, great food. It's on a great strip of other bars, stood the test of time, expanded, and is now a hot spot. Get the moonshine wings and catch the games.
9 Maple - Saratoga, NY - about a half hour north of Albany. Right downtown with all the crazy bars, for those who have been to the Saratoga Track. But it's off to the side of Caroline St.. Free of D-bags and downstaters (Jersey and Westchester). They have the best bartenders in the area, can make any drink to perfection. Plus, they are technically a jazz bar, so the live music is great. Dark, woody, perfect.
Love bars, despite the wallet drain, would rather be there than drinking in my house. If this catches on, would love to hear rundowns of bars people visit.
