An ACC guy I loved to watch was Randolph Childress. I still believe he had the coolest play ever in college basketball with a crossover on Jeff McInnis and then waved him to come over and then drained a three.

Randolph Childress and Tim Duncan comes to mind. I hated Maryland but for some reason I liked Joe Smith back in the day.

Kinda in the same vein Crazie, I hated Gtown, and my dad was very disappointed in me, but I remember pulling for Allen Iverson in college. I was never an Iverson fan in the NBA but h seemed so cool in college. And I was still fairly young so those Hoya gray jerseys seemed so great to me.

Oh man, I had the G-town shorts (black) and the AI G-town jersey too. He was awesome and so much fun to watch.

I really liked Juan Dixon.

Probably my all time non Duke favorite.

Recent story broke about him and his dad, it was not his mom and dad that died while he was young. His dad is still alive.

Kenyon Martin. Was at the game where he was 1 assist shy of a "quadruple double."
UC probably has a title if he didn't get injured before the tournament.

I liked watching Alando Tucker at Wisconsin. A more obvious favorite was Kevin Durant. Seemed like he was getting 30 and 15 every single game. Drew Neitzel and Shannon Brown from my college days at MSU...Draymond Green and Denzel Valentine more recently.

Doug McBuckets more recently. It was only one season but I used to try to shoot Mike Doleacs hook shot. I guess I had a lot of other guys to pull for in the mid 90s while Duke was down a little

I have to agree with those that said Iverson. I was 10-12 when he was in college I think. I wore the baggy shorts and knee high black socks like a lot of kids did back then because of him.

We must be the same age (a fantastic time to grow up in if you loved basketball and pop culture). Every kid in bball would rock the knee high black Nike socks.

Basketball was awesome back then, both in college and in the pros. Going to basketball camps was always fun and featured everything above. Every kid was a Michael Jordan fan too and everyone loved baggy clothes.

I was the guy who was not a Jordan fan....And my dad would never let me wear the knee high socks, even though I thought of myself as a Glen "Big Dog" Robinson type baller. But you're right those were the times. I was one of a handful that always pulled against MJ, again my dad persuaded me to dislike home because of the UNC ties. So I became a Barkley fan.

Matt Howard at butler. He had classic duke guy game. Tough as nails.

Dujuan Blair was about the baddest dude I ever saw. Only 6'6 but a sheer force in the paint and exposed 7'3 haseem thabeet for the fraud he was.
