My dad and sister are seeing a Carpenters tribute band Sunday. My parents loved them so we grew up with the 8 track playing in our wood den with shag carpets. John Denver and Jim Croche too.

Saw the Police in concert at Rupp in 83 or 84. Worn out two cassette tapes of Synchronicity. Great Album.
Band on the Run by McCartney is a good one. Jet too. That whole album is good.
Man, three pages and not one mention of an Elvis Presley song? “Jailhouse Rock” was a dope little tune.
Yeah, he wasn’t even a Boomer-he was part of the Silent Generation. Either way, he was super cool, but his actual music was pretty simple. The people that followed him (the Beatles, etc.) took his music to another level. Still, he had a few bangers, which reminds me to let everyone know “ Agent Elvis” premiered last night on Netflix, and it’s entertaining, if crude and irreverent (EP would love it).
