That was the first and only television show that my parents wouldn't allow me to watch. They let me watch anything I wanted on HBO, but a Nickelodeon show was off-limits. Go figure.

I have a friend that wasn't allowed to watch Rugrats when she was a kid. Because her parents thought she would identify more with Angelica and thus be mean to all the other kids. She told me this as an adult, and she agreed with it...
