The individual sites govern themselves I believe. I do not think Yahoo/Rivals has corporate ownership of the individual sites. If that were the case, someone would have stepped in on that board already from corporate. On the national board, all the moderators (including myself) had a very strongly worded message sent to us about what our duties entail and what we are suppose to do and not do. If going by those guidelines, the UNC mods would be in jeopardy of not being moderators going forward. That's why it leads me to believe that Yahoo has very little to do with the team sites outside of content.

The last time I looked, they were at or near 100% on 4 or 5 players and in the lead on a couple more. Since then they've dropped out of the lead on ALL of their PG offers. Bamba is now leaning to UK. And they are only ahead on Carter, Knox and Trent.
Now obviously a class with Carter, Knox and Trent would be pretty great. But since they were looking like they would get 5 guys of that caliber just a month or 2 ago, I wonder if there's something going on?"

He convinced Amile Jefferson to come back this year after he was sitting on the bench healthy for the later part of the season. Jefferson was healthy enough to play at the end of the season.

That is just a testament to their immaturity and childish nature. Their entire university is a $h!t show and a national embarrassment. Their basketball program is on a downward spiral recruiting wise, and on the brink of irrelevance.
They cannot say anything negative about Duke university, or the basketball program. Duke basketball is whipping their asses and they know it. So hole fans are left with nothing else to say other then to make comments on players looks.

I am all for poking fun at UNC, however this is way over the top. UNC was a last second miracle away from going to overtime with a chance to win a national title. They are also ranked to start the very next season. Irrelevant? Not so much.
It wasn't so long ago that people on the other side of the fence were saying the same thing about Duke and K. How did that work out for us? Never write off a blue blood, and especially one that is ranked in the top ten after coming off a nat'l championship runner up. I mean i'm all for hating UNC, with the best of them. but let's be realistic- this thread is 95 pages long of unrealistic morons on the other side of the fence. UNC will be good next year, very good possibly. I think we'll be better, but I wont discount them especially with such a great PG at the helm.
The problem isn't him simply silently condoning the lunacy, it is that he often flat-out encourages it.
Another quality point about Clint is that he never gives anyone false hope about a recruit. If there's good news or bad news he won't hesitate to tell us. And it's quite refreshing from the "sunshine and rainbows OR ELSE" crowd over there. Dave just didn't want to hear that Kentucky is considered the front runner.

This. First of all just so you know Mike is in my prayers and he along with The Lord's will can defeat the cancer. I think I can speak for all of us that will happen. He's a moderator and the most active one at thr and he has to know how bad it's gotten there.He allows the vulgar insults directed at Coach K. On the Murphy thread he posted the pop corn cartoon himself. He allowed the comments about Andre Dawkins to get out of control. He could have stopped it. He wasn't caught between a rock and a hard place there. He knew how bad the Murphy thread got because he participated. Yes I do believe Mike is basically a good guy but he is a moderator and it's his job to keep things in a civil way. I've seen where he speaks of posters from other fan bases to be civil and they will be allowed to post. That's all good. That's the way all visiting fan bases should be. But he can do better than what he allowed on the Murphy thread. I wish he would post his reasoning for that here. Maybe he doesn't read here. To my knowledge he hasn't been banned. As far as I know no one from thr has ever been banned from posting something on their own board.
