The Wire is the leader in the clubhouse, but I think a year from now my answer will be GOT.

Comedy:
I hate to be unoriginal but Seinfeld as well

The wire, for me, is exceptional. I have watched it fresh several times and enjoyed it just as much as the first.

If we are talking network, my answer is nypd blue.

Comedy would probably have to be MASH.

Burn Notice... I've never even heard of it.

I need to watch the Wire... all I ever hear is great things about it.

And I agree with MJD about Fargo...seasons 1 & 2...fantastic. Catastrophe is great too...wife & I are just starting the latest season.

Another viewpoint: While the last two seasons of the Wire aren't as good as the first three (mainly because the first three are as good as anything that has ever been on TV) they are still really good IMO.
