Hearing school system has hired an expensive law firm now that questions have risen over legality of them passing this new tax. So they aren’t using their in house legal counsel and running up more expenses for $$ they don’t have 
. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually short on their budget triple the number they said. It’s an absolute circus in the administration with no shortage of clowns.

Have you joined the Facebook group Fayette County Kids Matter? If not, please do. They will organize a run to get him out. Some say Murphy and Houston Barber ( deputy superintendent) don’t even live in Fayette county so this tax and previous raise in property tax didn’t even affect them.

Most school systems are generally filled with a bunch of half wit idiots with hidden agendas. The thing about the Fayette County is regardless of what they do, their system and athletics will still be **** compared to what it should be. These people on school boards act like they are holier than thou people with more power than the president. In reality, they are a bunch of 50K douchebags with little to no say in anything. Once they know their role, hopefully they get voted out.

I have watched many of the board meetings online and also attended in person. He is even more of a weasel hearing him/seeing him in person. Being the chair, he runs the meetings and is very sneaky/snarky. He has bigger political aspirations as well.
He'll probably end up working for a teachers union.
He’s already on the board for the National Educators Association, the largest teachers union.
Definitely....don't discount his name in the hat next year when Gorton's term is up.

I too think Chandler is going to make a big leap this year. I think Pope is going to eventually mold him into a combo guard who will be our backup point by the end of the year.

If the general public knew how little taxpayer money collected for education actually makes it into the K-12 classroom they would appalled.
