FC: For those who don't check the recruiting thread, our top RB for 2025 just decommitted.

Can’t psu just pick somebody up off the waiver wire/transfer portal?
This was a commit so there is no immediate roster loss. They also have a 4 star Philly RB visiting this weekend which could soften the blow if PSU can make an impression.

Nothing tells recruits to come to Penn State like parking tickets!

Recruits, employees, or anyone for that matter.
People will literally get a parking ticket within hours of their first day at work. They haven't even had the chance to find the parking office or barely know what their parking options are.
Welcome to work. Here is your fine.

Class of 97 and I remember it well. It's just dumb AF when they may piss off potential student athletes that could make the school millions.

On another note, the tickets aren't worth the paper they're written on if you're not a student or employee. I hope the athletes and their parents that aren't going to attend PSU are told to throw them in the garbage by our staff.

It is actually on ICA as they are to make arrangements. They know the rules, but they just don’t give a flip. And as such it results in bad experiences for recruits and their families. After the fact, ICA will ask for these to be reduced to warnings.

Not a fan of the campus parking tix, but the f d up attitude and approach by ICA to be reactive instead of proactive is the real problem. I have no idea why they step on their own schlongs as it relates to this.

Maybe Mark should ask football staff why they set recruits up for failure? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

If you're a good parent with smart kids, it's burning money just to say you can.
I suspect your per annum tuition bill for two boys is higher than $100k.

Do you expect them to reciprocate later in life?

Joe would have proactively "managed" this situation differently. That is just one of the many differences between him and the wholly inept thing PSU currently employs as a supposed Head Football Coach.

This thread is proof positive the new(er) concept of one thread per topic sucks! Participation should have made that obvious but apparently hasn't.

The Penn State Police Department is and ACTUAL police deparment. It's not a good idea to just ignore the tickets in 2024. Maybe 1980, but not now.

As usual, BW Lion misfires. Perhaps you have me confused with Midnighter, the guy who sits around watching endless TV and movies whilst his sugar momma is out paying the bills. Just because you CAN do something with your money, doesn't mean you should.

For those that don't check the recruiting thread our top RB was just replaced....LOL! Like I said, there's no reason to worry about our RB room.

Good pick up despite the lower overall and positional ranking. I like getting PA kids especially from a top HS program though.

My original post had less to do with the RB position and more to do with losing one of our top ranked players for the cycle (to date). Moving on…

FWIW there were questions with Henderson's size and HS competition in bumcluck Alabama.

I recall hearing that when he committed - why the lofty ranking then? Curious. He has an elite offer list too. Like I said - I like PA kids from big time PA powerhouses and Imhotep has been a reliable pipeline of top talent.

I trust On3 and 247 rankings much more than ESPN and Rivals (the ones that drove the composit up).

Agree, 100% with this as rivals told Brian Bresee to keep Michigan and Alabama in his top teams or they would drop him from #1 recruit status.
Rivals was rumored to drop ratings on kids that didn’t attend their prospect camps also.

Despite your alleged “cyber wealth”, it sounds like you’re allowing your sons to attend “public schools” in the greater Boston area. 😬😳😱
