I believe so. My daughter came home on Thursday so we didn't make the trip. They sure did a good job with the broadcast to hide that view.

Obviously, anyone who posts here as much as we do are nut jobs. I would have went home too (unless undefeated I guess). It’s a terrible week for a game but kudos to those who made the trip and to the players for sacrificing all they do for the game . Congrats to the seniors who have lived this since arriving at Penn State. All else aside, I believe CjF is a great role model and mentor for young men.

I had a blast. It was a nice sunny crisp November day. We tailgated, met up with some friends and picked up my son for break. Good day for us all around. Agree with you on CJF being a good role model for these young men. Hope he finds the solution for OSU/Michigan that we all seek. Nobody wants to solve that puzzle more than he does, I’m sure.

I talked to my daughter and asked if there was some kind of incentive to stay would she consider it. Something like a free chicken basket and a free ticket to the game. She said she would have stayed. I know it won't happen but how about $10 meal voucher and refund for this game for students with student tickets if they attend?

No, for me, the most disappointing season was 1999. Sitting at the game where we let MN hang around and then win. Then lost the remaining games that season.… this season doesn’t compare…again at least to me it doesn’t.
Same. I was in the stands for MN and Michigan. Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling.

Didn't they already pay for their student tickets up front?

Yes. I'm just spitballing. How about you give those students that attend the game a pre sale for next season's season tickets. There's plenty of ways to get rear ends in seats with creative thinking. (Student season tickets are in VERY high demand and sell out very quickly)

The real answer is schedule a good opponent each year. UM and tOSU sell out their game with students on break like ours.

The schedule is not up to PSU - the conference does the scheduling, and I believe they have some format they follow: For example, since 2016, Rutgers is always in November. Since 1993, OSU has always been Oct/November, except for three times. (2000, 2008 and 2018).

I can see offering a food credit/voucher though.

Also, both OSU and UM are in/near population centers, so getting to/from the game on campus is not a chore. There is a reason MSU moved the T-giving game this year to Ford Field in Detroit.

Are you asking if the students are on break? Yes they are. Yesterday’s ostlycrowd was way bigger than I was expecting.

Mostly asking about the second pic. I think everyone knows it’s Thanksgiving break.

The crowd was sparse and late arriving. Student section filled in a little better.
I was impressed with the crowd, We were there and we were loud.
Its also Thanksgiving break so it was pretty typical for Thanksgiving week games.

Well tOSU might be looking for an opponent for the last game of the season for a few years. Why not us? šŸ˜

I don't see them breaking up the Michigan - OSU game. Was that not one of their protected rivals?
