Holy smokes. This may be the beginning of the end for the ACC as we know it. The SEC and B1G are about to run circles around the ACC in exposure and marketing.

I guess Neal has a biased perception of his team since they play in a conference where defense is optional.

This is a better deal for the ACC than the previous setup where these were the Raycom games that were then regional broadcasts sold to a motley collection of local networks (mostly to Bally sports channels). With the Diamond Sports Group that owns the Bally sports networks going belly up, this is the new home.

Most ACC games will still otherwise be on ESPN networks (ABC, ESPN/ESPN2, ACC Network, etc).

An interesting side story to this is that CW was rumored to be bidding for the Pac-12 rights, which would certainly compliment the ACC games if it were to happen.

I assume ACC is hoping CW increases its streaming exposure. This came very quickly after Youtube TV announced it reached a deal to carry more CW stations so most now are carried where before it was a minority (although the Lebanon Station here in central PA was carried)
