I can remember exactly where I was watching SNL that night. It was like a bomb went off watching this live. The raw energy unleashed by Patti Smith literally jumped through the TV.

I also finally got to watch the Jason Reitman SNL movie and loved it. Just total chaos that came together when it mattered. Could have done without ‘everything’ Milton Berle though. Highly recommend.
