Finally done; only cost $22mm. Does any college need soccer facilities this nice? Does soccer make money?

That video wasn’t at all complex.
Sorry to hear that . I know only two sports generate money ,but didn't know it was that badBetween them, the two soccer teams lose $3.75 million, women leading the way.

There are exceptions here and there, but as a general rule sports that don't have media rights contracts lose money. That means there is hope for women's basketball to earn a profit.Sorry to hear that . I know only two sports generate money ,but didn't know it was that bad
What?Hats off to the donors who made it possible.
What?
That was "paid for" with a big pile of debt - not philanthropy.
Worse, it turned into an unwise vanity project.
Personally, that was very disconcerting, as I was one who for many years had advocated for a significant improvement to game day facilities at Jeffrey Field. Unfortunately, the way that whole thing ended up taking shape, I had to vote against it (because the project as proposed and built made zero sense, and was hugely wasteful)
Discuss some of that in here:

There is an East Area Locker Room Building across from Holuba Hall where some teams that practice/play on the east side of campus (lacrosse, field hockey, tennis, maybe T&F) have lockers and work out. This seems kinda excessive and an over spend for the soccer teams but I don't know what the norm is for soccer at other schools? Football of course has its own facility. I think basketball does. Wrestling probably and since ice hockey has the arena then I imagine that also operates as their workout and meeting facility.
Other sports? What about the swim team or the baseball team or the volleyball teams or the track team, etc? Where do they work out? Is that all shared with all the other sports? I know it is not the same as what the general student population uses but is it one facility for all the athletes participating in these so called "lesser important" sports?
