Gender doesn't matter unless she misses her obligatory pre-game flips and splits, then it becomes ominous.

At least PSU has three and one half (3-1/2) cup cake home games to determine whether she is worthy of being the new Jeff Robertson (the guy who started the front flip and splits tradition).

Isn’t the main “audition” for drum major to successfully perform the flips? If so it might help explain the gender disparity

I noticed last years drum major missed a few flips. Maybe missed is incorrect. His landings were a bit sloppy at a few games that the telecast showed. I hope she does well and carries on the tradition.
