You couldn’t tell him anything. He would miss the gd point all the time.
Clearly, his DNA has been passed down to many on this board.

Used to be worse. Carter, Mack D, Glov. I (more or less accidentally) figured out what made Carter tick and we became friendly but boy he never made anything easy.

He was a unique Felli.
Felli is very intelligent but always over explained things he really knew nothing about. It’s part of growing up: realize what you know and don’t know. It was like Felli was perpetually a junior in college.

Maybe we’ll see him pushed through the Alumni Trustee qualification algorithm some day …

By the time I appeared on the boards, Mack Daddy already had his reputation and everyone treated him like crap.

Don’t know what he did or didn’t do to deserve that, but when I was here he was equal parts one of the few reasonable, lucid people on topics like religion, and also batpoop crazy and flying off the handle at a moment’s notice.

That’s fair.

Probably before your time and not exactly relevant (ymmv) but in the week leading up to the 2005 Michigan game Felli, as a sick joke, posted that Derrick Williams had broken his leg in practice. “It was all in fun, I was just teasing,” that kind of BS. The board really went after him, I myself would have hit the gas if he had happened to find himself in the crosswalk in front of me. Of course, it didn’t help matters that Williams DID break his arm in the Michigan game, probably should have mentioned this in the coincidences thread up now.

Felli would do bs like this, passive-aggressively pushing themes he didn’t completely believe himself. He was a royal pia.

Oh the good ole days. How about Gunsy (21 Guns)?. Does he still lurk under a different moniker? Or Peetz Pool Boy? Or does he remain at the old site?

I honestly believe that he has some mental health issues. I hope he is getting some help and getting better.

Miss him. Found him interesting and often entertaining. Actually became pretty good board friends with him. He certainly wasn't of the cookie cutter type, which likely accounted for his disappearance from the board.

Thought he passed; remember him going to Florida to help Covid efforts (he was a nurse IIRC) and didn’t post after - he never had a goodbye email or anything.

He is still alive and kicking as a nurse in Jax. I think Michael is a good guy at heart . But he became obsessed with what he accused others of. He abhorred the religious pushing their doctrine on others . He just wanted to be left alone to pursue his journey . Then once he identified as a humanist, he pushed this ideology onto others as the only true path .
