Good point I should have elaborated more . Are the three running worth it and the BOT in general worth it .
Sadly, at this point, who the alumni elect doesn't matter. The Executive Committee decides everything.
And always has and always will . Unless the legislature gets involved and makes changes forget it .
+1. This is the first year I'm probably not voting.
Legislative action and the Courts are the only way to correct how the BOT rigged things to always go in their favor.
I’m happy Barry got elected. He’s been on his best behavior and has been transparent. Could use a few more like him. These three thought? Meh - Lubrano is worth a vote I think. Jay could use more time writing his blog though…I’m gonna write in @Tom McAndrew this year. He deserves a shot at some onion dip (or is it raita now?)…
Seems notable to mention that Dr. Pope was (& likely still is) truly feared/respected by the old guard/B&I trustees.
