Apparently the Learfield deal expires at the end of May. The university isn't trying to end the deal early. It simply chose another media partner (Playfly Sports) to go forward from there. Learfield isn't happy with the process which was used to award the new contract. I have no idea if their lawsuit has merit or not.

The suspicious side of me wonders which BOT member/family is connected to Playfly Sports.

Will this make us ELITE. o_O ?

Learfield seems to be accusing PSU of not being transparent enough in the bidding process. PSU seems to want to move on from them to another company for reasons not specified publicly. Learfield sounds a bit like my son, who was just born three days ago, when he's hungry.
