Believe it or not there's a decent chance this team still goes 6-6 this year. Lot of the teams on the schedule are also dumpster fires. Texas A&M is horrific. Kentucky is still bad. Oklahoma somehow has a worse QB than us. Arkansas is still Arkansas. Clemson is the worst they've been in a long time. Tennessee has a pretty awful QB too. Only teams really rolling on the schedule are Florida and Georgia.

Not saying it will happen, but I'd be far from surprised if we ended up 6-6 or even 7-5 this year. Beamer should still be gone at 6-6 but Old Carolina will probably keep him around of course. If we end up 7-5 probably keep him I guess. Won't be happy
about it, but maybe we can use the money going to Sellers and Harbor to get a QB with a brain and a WR with hands.

On the flip side would also be far from surprised if a demoralized team loses bad to Kentucky next week. Fire Beamer on the spot if that happens, because it means he's lost the team. Save his salary for the rest of the season and give Briles an audition without Beamer making him do retarded crap like a TE sneak on 4th and 2 (you can't convince me that one wasn't a Beamer invention).

This is so true. Ran a sought after pass offense that had some upside. Firmly believe that if he had gotten another job at another time and place he would’ve been “a guy”. Coming as a first time D1 (at time) HC and then transitioning into the SEC as a new member? lol….poor sparky.

Agree100%. Shades of the DE being thrown to at the end zone…which still remains the dumbest thing I have ever seen USC football do for many reasons, and that is saying a lot.
