With the way the team is playing right now we could have been a serious threat and might still be! I would like to have Jax and a healthy Butler!

I’d like to have Gerald Fitch, Erik Daniels and Cliff Hawkins lol. Pope is gonna do the best to win with who we have available. For the rest of the SECT, I’d expect to have no Butler. He’s hurt, man

I'm going to hold on to hope. How many games/minutes have we even had Butler on the floor since Feb 1st? How much of that was he healthy? Yet our defensive efficiency has gotten better. He's absolutely missed. But others seem to step up.

And that's why I hate conference tournaments. Teams that know each other, overly amped to get revenge from regular sesson.. back to back to back games..

I actually might honestly preferred we lost last night, because we can't sustain any more injuries or we won't win our first tournament game. Hope it was worth it.

I’m glad we didn’t lose and still lost Lamont though.

Herm Edward's isn't exactly a great coach, just has a famous quote.

Signed, Jets fan.

Hey that's fine. I see in the threads some people are actually just thrilled to get this win. Idk. It feels like if Butler isn't out there, and we draw a 14-seed that's even half way decent at pressuring the ball, we might lose opening round. And that just won't sit well with me.

I truthfully hope we lose next game tomorrow and dont really care if the pro-SECT fans feel otherwise. Just move on to the tournament, we got out 3-seed and we neef to remember what the real prize is.

Real similar feelings to that Tennesee game when Butler went down. I said after that one, never been more depressed after kicking UT's ***. The idea of not having Butler for the rest of the season after it looked like we were getting better defensively is just depressing.

I thought you were going to say it feels bad to cough up a 11 point lead late in a game, especially a six point lead with 35 seconds left.

But dang the win is sweet!
Probably doesn’t happen if Butler is in there. Navigating that full court press with no true point guard is what causes things like that to happen.

I haven’t processed Butler yet; I’m still holding out hope.

But that game left a terribly bittersweet taste in my mouth because of the officiating. Watching it felt like something very hard earned was taken from this team, something rightfully deserved. Oweh’s gritty buzzer beater didn’t wipe that feeling away. The wrongdoing is still hanging out there unaddressed.
