Don't know that I'd move up PR based on a route of McHenry. CG rolled them too but is pretty much invisible to this board.

If you're right, @capnbillhitters might jump off a cliff or go on a 7 day bender

No bender but a serious kick in the gut. I didn't see this before today, but had I, I would have said "upset? Are you kidding me?" HC was higher ranked. HC playing in front of Homecoming crowd made this game a pick em at best.

I loved the HC QB. He took a ton of hits but kept calling his own number. He made all the throws he needed to make. Bryant at LT might throw a softer deep ball but HC kid is tough, and a winner. I love the LB Pollard #5. That dude made 15+ tackles and was a wrecking crew. Not sure if he is big enough for LB in college but he will make a nice SS.

Tough loss. Agree not necessarily an upset, I would've called it a "pick em".

Who do you think has a stronger arm, Bean at Hinsdale or Bryant at LT?

I've gotten the sense since posts this summer you aren't real impressed with Bryant, just curious since you probably watched both the last two weeks. Regarding toughness, Bean may have taken some hits, but Bryant actually suffered two dislocated fingers during the GW game. The trainers weren't quite sure what to do, so his dad (a physician) actually popped them back into place for him in the middle of the game and he finished it out. Bad enough he's had (or having surgery) this week. Short of cutting one off Ronnie Lott style, that's pretty dang tough if you ask me lol.

If I was building a team for a passing attack, I would take Bryant. Strong arm, controls the field. Makes every throw. Never looks rattled and really knows put a ball into a slot with touch. He is accurate to 55 yards and plays through obvious pain of the two dislocated fingers that I mentioned as well in my wrap last week.

Bean was not impressive against DGN but today looked like a different kid. The most impressive throw was the 25 yard out route down to the 10 yard line on HC side. Great throw and total confidence. He spiked a few throws that were unnecessary. Bryant was on the mark just about every throw. But that Bean kid looked like he was a great leader. Always knew where the sideline was and always found the first down marker when needed. He played his *** off today.
