First off, my apology's to the Montini fans out there. Just remember that when it comes to upset predictions........" It's business, not personal"
Now to this weeks prediction. This week I'll take the unranked Bulldogs of Richards over the #24 ranked and last years State Champion Wildcats of Phillips.
Both teams are coming off an opening day loss. This game will be determined by who's better, the strong offense of Phillips or the strong defense of Richards. Phillips put up 26 points last week in their loss to Fenwick, but their D gave up 34. Richards was able to hold Lemont to 13 points last week, but the O came up short. I'll take Richards this week. Final score .......Richards 28 - Phillips 26. That's my upset. What are your thoughts, and who is your upset?

Would it be a bad loss. Yeah but not an upset Centeal is going to make some noise this season. Tough program with size and speed to go along with it

Agreed. Early in the year, rankings are pretty much a guess. But, it's the best current measure of what constitutes an upset.

I agree with Dean on this week. I'll take Simeon over Marist. Is it truly an upset? Marist is ranked above Simeon. Whether they should be is legitimate question, though.

Sorry, wrong. I picked MS over MCHS last week and have been saying all along this team was ranked on reputation. Just because pundits don't do their homework doesn't make it right, right?
