…and Illinois beat Wyoming 38-6 and Nebraska beat North Dakota 38-17. In other words, scoring 38 points against schools like Illinois State, North Dakota, Wyoming, and New Mexico State really does not tell us much about the team. No one in the west has faced a tough out of conference opponent yet and only one team in the west has beaten a conference opponent.

And Duke "only" beat Temple 30-0, so maybe we should show up for that game too.

Exactly!!!! The MWC isn't a good gauge for how good BIG teams are. The MAC is stronger than the MWC across the board. I thought Illinois might have improved, but that stinker loss against Indiana dispelled that notion til BIG play

Just think if Nebraska had scheduled North Dakota State instead? Today their fanbase might’ve/would’ve been over edge. FCS teams can be and are dangerous

So UNL and UW padded scores late....they wore their opponents down late. FCS teams have some good players, most are well coached but they lack the depth of the P5s......Having said that..I think UNL is still trying to figure out how to use their offensive skill players...this passing guru ,Whipple and the running dude,Frost...have still got to figure out how to be a smoothie....As for UW...still not impressed with Mertz at qb and their defense is not last years defense.
