FG Percentage Home/Away:

Vanderbilt: 46.2/40.5
NU 44.3/42.6

Effective FG Percentage Home/Away:

Vanderbilt: 55.9(!)/49.2
NU 50.2 /49.0

From all reports, Vanderbilt lives by its 3 point shooting. Here's hoping the fact they will be playing in an unfamiliar gym has the same adverse effect on them playing away from home has had this year. The Cats have been much more consistent.

Their (Vandy's)shots will all be long as they are not used to the reduced air resistance and gravity. When we are off it is generally because we are short. Those will now go in.

And for this game, Vandy shot 38.2%, 46% effective fg while Cats shot 49.1%, 55% effective fg. Great defense and smart offense by NU. The only things that kept Vandy in the game was the style of officiating and the disparity in free throw conversion.
