A very challenging exhibition opener for Louisville Field Hockey at Miami (OH) on Friday.
The Cards got the 2-1 win, but had to go through regulation, two overtime periods and two shootouts to achieve it. It was Mattie Tabor with the sudden victory goal in the second shootout that gave the win to Louisville. Sophomore Carolyn Pusey had the Cards score in regulation, off a Tabor assist.
The "Stick Gals" host Bellarmine for another exhibition this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Trager. New turf at Trager !!
