Extremely disappointed with the UConn - UCLA blowout.
Cori laid a dud tonight. She has been racking up recruits, but a showing like this does not look good on her. They did not look prepared at all. She couldn't rally the troops to raise their level up to that of UConn'sat any point in the game.
I get it, .... This UConn team is hitting on all cylinders these days, but the UCLA talent should have been able to go toe-to-toe with them. To me, it feels likeCori wasted the talent. She has a possible 4 or 5 WNBA level-players on that team that got destroyed by what.....30 tonight??? Watching tonight you would think its just L Betts. Got nothing out of T. Gardener or Dugalic.
Barker has to be wondering why she hardly plays and is not in the offensive mix. Same with another pretty good frosh in K. Dudley. Cori put Dudley in when they were down by 25. Her size, length, and athleticism might have been better suited to stay with Fudd.
Lastly, ........COULD YOU IMAGINE VIC SCHAFER with the UCLA talent???!!!!
