Mine is a mess. All I know is my top 4...still working on the order. Based on what I saw tonight, MS is best team in the state.

With players only going one way. Undefeated with all their best going both ways

Yup. MS had 5 guys going both ways I believe for the end of season and playoff run. That didn't happen in the early season game with Loyola.

From your mouth to the ears of the coaches at Waubonsie for next year on a few guys going both ways and playing both sides of the ball.

I'm leaning to the best defense in the state as #1.....the Flyers. I was literally concerned for the safety of the PFN kids at the beginning of that game. The Flyers took their foot off the gas at the end.

Glenbard North was probably better than the Hitters this year. They hammered NV and almost beat ESL on the road. Took a bit of a miracle for the Flyers to win. Both teams ended with 3 losses.

But Palatine beat SCE without Oles. And arguments could be made for strength of schedule and your rankings for Fenwick, GW. And I didn't see anything in the 7A game that would put ESL that high. Hate rankings.

I flopped Palatine so that should make you happy, and that D from ESL is suffocating.

If anyone remembers my rankings from last year since when did I ever care?

Maine South still has 3 losses. A deserved state champion yes indeed. Man if MS lost I had them 6 or 7.

Isn't the point of the DSR to think outside the box? Ranking teams without necessarily adhering to society's conventions? I'm not a DSR guy, but I like that Gooms immediate thoughts still have MS behind LA. Maybe the DSR have shifted over its existence... is it "who would beat who" or who is more deserving? Because if anyone thinks IC would beat HF, I have a bridge to sell you.

******** it's late and I may have had one too many but this is what'll make America great again. Bring back the DSR, not the non-edgy, edgytim top ten!!!

@Alexander32 - while these are nice people, your top 10 is not welcome here. Repost in the Not dark side thread. I should have referred to them as a Cabal not a clique ... but they seem cool. You will find your way.
