Oats is at the point in his career where Billy Donavan was just before Donavan realized that the only way to win the big prize was to make sure his teams played hard, physical, basketball on both sides of the court. After that Billy won back to back.

If Oats can grasp this simple concept he will step onto the next level and be someone who's teams should be feared.

Thankfully he will probably join the NBA shortly thereafter.

Mackey is an incredibly tough place to play, especially for a big games. Toughest in the B10, by most accounts. Would've been cool to see Kentucky and Purdue do at least one home/home while the IU game was being cried about all these years.

We stepped up and matched the physicality with Duke, Bama wilted from the physicality of Purdue.
Bama was pretty physical as well. There near the end Purdue was hitting shots and Alabama wasn't. I will say the Frosh Philon for Bama is going to be a problem for the league this year. Dude had some quick, herky jerky moves and handles and had a good looking shot.
