We came in at #18. So how do you make it to the Sweet 16 and get ranked 18th?

I don't pay attention to the rankings (that's a lie) until the final one. I thought the last one was objective not subjective.

That's about right to me. Just because teams like Michign State crapped the bed in Round 1, doesnt mean they are worse than Duke.

Syracuse is too high, though. I guess they're forgiving some of those early losses.

I'd say #18 is about right. Like DukeDenver said, just because a Michigan St. loses in the first round doesn't mean they're not a top 32 team. Hell, we all know they're still one of the 10 best...

I think its about right too....just short by a couple of spots....just saying. And yes, your right.

I actually think that is at least, right. Maybe even generous. That's not a knock on this team, they fought hard to win the games they did. But no matter the circumstance, they did lose some games they shouldn't have. Very happy with this team even with that said.

There are two more sweet 16 teams behind us, Gonzaga (21) and Wisconsin (23). I would have ranked us 16, just ahead of West Virginia and Kentucky. Seems very logical given we were a 4 seed that lost to the 1 seed in the sweet 16.

18th and a down year, sounds good to me. That sandwiched between a championship and what's coming next year. It's good to be a Blue Devils fan.

Meh....I really don't care where we finish at the end of the season. Never have honestly because I'm already thinking about the next season and this year especially I am thinking about next season. Can't wait until next season!

Personally, I really don't care about the end of the season rankings either. If Duke is not #1, I still try to reflect on the type of season they had. Remember all the joy they gave us, all the battle they had in them, the injuries, and most of all, they never complained or made excuses! I'm extremely proud of this team and all they accomplished.
