This could be useful for some you guys.
I have FIOS. Their programming search functionality is beyond horrible. Anyway, I figured out the following steps that are the best I can come up with to locate hard to find games on FIOS.
Using these steps, I located these two games on FIOS.
1) 12/30 Long beach state game: Under YES network, channel #576.
2) 1/9 VT game: Under WLNY, channel #510.
I still haven't located the 1/2 BC game. Anyone with better luck?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My method:
1) Under your TV guide, click into Program Search and input "College" and select the "College Basketball" choice.
2) Now a new window pops out with all the college basketball games on FIOS under all channels over the next 10 days or so.
3) Narrow down the list by selecting a particular date (upper left box of the popped out window).
4) Cntl-F to bring up the search box of your browser and search the desired start time of the Duke game. Write down the channel numbers you found.
5) Look into each one of them to see if it happens to be the Duke game.
Anyone with a better method than this?
