Many of the issues now creating stress in our society today can be attributed to my generation. Even though civil rights legislation in the 60's harkened a new dawn in terms of tolerance, racism and prejudice has festered just below the surface. We were kidding ourselves throughout the '80's, '90's, and into the 21st century that tolerance of religious, racial, and sexual orientation was mostly gone from the American experience. Sadly, in my opinion, it took the election of a black president to bring that festering sore to the surface and an openly racist, homophobic, misogynistic president to pop the sore, spewing the infection out and across the nation. His appeal to my generation...for the most part, white, Christian, high school educated, blue collar Americans longing for the '50's and the way things used to be and the exploitation of this class of voters by the far right conservative body politic has blown open a huge hole in good ship America. However, this will pass. As the country evolves and its melting pot history of pluralism, openness, tolerance, and welcoming of the tired and sick longing to be free flourishes and my generation passes, the country's best days will be led by a highly intelligent, multicultural society based on the rule of law.

The seeds of division and hate in this world have been sown by the elites who want more control and power over their sheep. These wealthy elite from all political affiliations own the media that sows discord with their propaganda to serve their lust for global domination.

All Presidents and politicians - Obama included - serve these puppet masters and get rich by doing so. We eventually honor them with the tag "statesmen" and give them monuments such as libraries so they can be further remembered and worshipped like Pharoahs. Dishonor knows no bounds.

Human nature is special.

openly racist, homophobic, and misogynistic? Ha give me a break. The only racist people I see are the so called civil rights leaders of today and a good portion of the democratic party. Trump hasn't embraced homosexuality? Well praise God he hasn't.

In today’s world there is no more openly racist and bigoted large organization than the current Democratic Party....Look at how freely liberals throw around the "Old White Man" tag in derogatory terms.

Those who talk about race the most... are usually the racist. All the democrats have is hate, rage and crazy ideas like the free Green New Deal.

If the American people don’t completely defeat this brand of the democratic party, their extremism and their media we are headed for very dark and very violent times.

^^^This is what gaslighting does. Democrats failed the country with Obama as president, so much so that Republicans won the House, Senate, the majority of governorships, and the majority of state legislatures. "Progressive" ideology is everything opposite of progressive.

Trump was elected because America was tired of unproductive grievance politics, tired of the excuses, tired of the blame game, tired of the *** kissing and apology tours, tired of failed foreign policy, tired of cowering before our enemies, and tired of the march toward the eternal failure that is socialism.

We didn't elect Trump because he was racist. He isn't, and all of you racism screeching kooks know it. You've tagged him and his supporters with all those labels because your side has nothing to offer America. Medicare for All? The Green New Deal? 57 genders? Taking away freedoms? Increasing government dependency? So many grievances that new and more ridiculous ones have to be created everyday? Promoting hate towards straight white males to uplift others? Yeah, not interested.

Democrats want to control people so they can gain and keep power. They prey on the weak, marginalized, and vulnerable by promising them things they will never deliver and by creating fear with boogeymen that don't exist. It's sad to see my former party embrace the most horrific and failed ideology of modern times. I'll keep supporting those who vow to protect the freedoms of all people no matter how many school yard names you and your ilk call me.

Glad to see voter identity BS hasn't been used to explain bigotry here.
Tolerance and intolerance are two-way streets and as long as people are people, the world will to deal with both.
No religion, no guru, no world leader can ever put an end to or even reduce bigotry and hatred.
Bigotry is not just "an American experience".....it's a world experience.....and it's silly to lay bigotry at the feet of one person.
We live in a world where fear is put in us by politicians and the media throughout the world. Hatred and bigotry is spawned from fear. Once the seed of fear has been planted, it never goes away.
Case in point: the Holocaust in Europe was the worst example of fear and hatred ever, in my opinion. Its existence was beyond evil and its terrible lesson seems to have been ignored, forgotten, marginalized and even denied since then.

Total BS....

Obama was the most racially divisive president in history. Elected due to wishfull thinking that he would bring races together as the first bi-racial President ; yet he fanned the flames of riacism by playing the race card continually, most of the time while being on the wrong side of an issue....

I have never read such garbage. Donald Trump is the best thing that has happened to this country at this point in history. God help us is if Idiots like AOC or Bernie Sanders ever get control. The 2020 election will be as important as any in our history for determining future course of our country. If the the open border, everything free, socialist democrats ever gain control then there will most definitely be wall. But it will be on the northern border between the US and Canada. That is how far the caravan people will eventually push.

The 2020 election will be an even bigger circus and will bring out the worst in most people, far more than in 2016. The sky will be the limit.
If elected people are to be the best and brightest of us, why haven't any of them come forth to calm their followers ?

Circus or not,the importance is huge. Trump may not be the best or brightest according to your standards, but he sure beats the hell out of anything the Democrats are lining up to run. I’ll take his brashness and sometimes outrageous comments any day over the socialistic economy crippling green new deal utterly stupid plan that the dems are offering. Yea I know I left out some commas. If it is a circus so be it. But most of the clowns will be on the democratic left. Of course if it truly turns out to be a circus, then you can bet it will be liberal mainstream media that helps make sure that happens. Just my opinion

Last night Tucker had on an Asian-American running as a Dem that had some intriguing economic ideas that I would like to hear more about. He seems to be very well spoken about the topics his time block allowed (loss of millions of jobs to robots and AI) and probably has NO chance whatsoever as he avoided support of aocL & the far left...

Given their extreme mental condition we shouldn’t be shock if a sizable segment of dem’s go down that path.

It has far more to do with AOC being Hispanic. Personally, I don't think AOC is all that attractive. I'm tired of seeing her fugly face plastered all over the place.

I agree. America was broken. Making America Great Again for everyone was long overdue. The problem is that the Liberals hate that a rich, white, man that leans conservative is doing it instead one of their own.

Sucks for you and your party that when y'all looses national elections, y'all whine, nag, *****, and cry like spolied 13 yr old girls that can't get on their cell phones.
