Fixed. Best I could do.So, it’s reached the point where getting stomped by us is considered the last straw?
Dabo is the winningest coach in Clemson history. 181-49 (79%) with 6 top 4 finishes (6 more than Franklin) and 2 Nattys. I sure wouldn't fire him after one tough year.
There you go. make it about Franklin even when it isn’t. Good on ya.Dabo is the winningest coach in Clemson history. 181-49 (79%) with 6 top 4 finishes (6 more than Franklin) and 2 Nattys. I sure wouldn't fire him after one tough year.

The horse is dead when we say it is.
Dabo's teams have struggled since his two longer term coordinators, Tony Elliott (OC) and Brent Venables (DC) took head coaching jobs. After their terrible start, they played very good football in November; I thought that he did a very good job of salvaging their season.
Being dead doesn’t keep anyone from being a topic of discussion around here. The horse is dead when we say it is.

Sometimes a change is needed for both sides, a fresh start for both coach and program/fanbase. It can be a win win for both. I felt this way about Andy Reid when the Eagles fired him. Ended up working out well for both Coach Reid and the Eagles.Dabo has done very well for Clemson. But perhaps his message is running stale. Plus his unwillingness to embrace NIL and the portal. The game has passed him by.
He and Clemson should reach an agreement with him stepping down (not fired). All good things must come to an end.
I think Clemson had +/-27 players out. I'm glad PSU won, but this bowl game shouldn't determine Dabo's fate. I liked how the Lion's played, but let's not read too much into one game with both rosters in flux.
Yeah this isn't new and his stubbornness towards the portal is a pretty valid reason as you have to stay current within the rules to compete. The kicking and crying contingent part of PSU would be the same exact way regardless of what he did 8 years ago if he was stumbling and not using everything available to improve. There is no longer a 5 year grace period in college football....win or you'll be replaced.A segment of Clemson fans have wanted him fired the last couple of years. Like with our fanbase, this is not a sudden thing that they want after a poor season this year.
Nor does being brain dead keep some from posting.Being dead doesn’t keep anyone from being a topic of discussion around here.

I enjoyed the game, but those were my thoughts while watching.Well, it just proved that Penn State’s second string was better than Clemson’s second string.
I know......and some really easy ones! I wonder how much the cold contributed? Cold hands and hard ball? The game may have turned out in Dabo's favor if Clemson's receivers didn't drop a half dozen passes.

I believe that the scenario that you describe definitely applied to PSU this season; both the program and Franklin needed a change. The Steelers have been in this situation for years, but the ownership is so addicted to stability that it has created a stagnant, Groundhog’s Day operation.Sometimes a change is needed for both sides, a fresh start for both coach and program/fanbase. I noticed that too. I thought it wasn’t the best body language to show to your team but wthdik.By the way Dabo scowled after every PS point, you could tell he was in trouble.
Jimmy Cefalo wouldn’t struggle in the cold . ⛄️I would believe Immensely, mh-larch
