Whatever support Stoops had should be doused now.

He has zero, and I do mean zero clue how to be a head coach.

He's a coordinater, barely.

At the end of the day does it really matter as long as Mitch Barnhart is the one making the hiring decisions? I'm 99% sure Stoops isn't cut out to be a HC, but Mitch is so clueless that I guarantee you he would hire someone just as bad or worse than Stoops.

If you want REAL change you need to get a new head coach AND a new athletics director..otherwise nothing will change.

The job of turning Kentucky football around is too big for a coordinator. We need someone with experience and that means we are going to have to spend some money. Even more than we are throwing down the ******* with Stoops. We really need a tough, hard as nails SOB who will compete for SEC level talent. That means we have to be OK with what other SEC schools do to attract talent. Those of you smart enough to read between the lines and familiar with the SEC will understand what I am saying.

I wonder if Capilouto is still awake?

Doubt it...

As long as that SEC paycheck is coming in and men's and women's basketball are doing well, those in the athletic's administration couldn't care less about how football does (unless it starts cutting into their paycheck for the olympic sports).

I still shake my head t the extensions Barnhardt let go.

- Stoops in year 2 gets a massive extension
- We extend Schlarman after the fiasco of last 3 years

Only Marrow was a coach in demand that we rightfully extended the past 4 years...but Mitch is like a politician spending other people's money in such a willy nilly way.

I really thought Stoops would get it done here especially with the recruiting classes he was pulling in. But there's pretty much no recovering from this kind of performance. It's a back breaker for sure. It's the same incompetent coaching and players not making simple plays to close out games. I don't know who the hell to get that will win at UK. But please don't bring up scum bag Petrino's name. I don't care if it meant winning a BCS bowl I still wouldn't want him here.

We get it. You've posted this in 57 threads. Everybody loves " told you so" guy.
Yeah nobody likes being told that, especially people who flamed the guy who was making the accurate predictions.

But that's how it works. You bust on somebody and they end up being right, you have to put up with them reminding you.

I'm usually against this type of talk, but I think Stoops being fired should be real. He can fire assistants all he wants, at the end of the day, he is not developing these players and making the adjustments.

Should have hired Petrino. At this point, it couldn't be more embarrassing hiring Petrino as it would be losing to chump schools and not making a bowl.
