I just read the article on the details of Schiano's buyout. I didn't think this night could get any worse, but it did.

It’s about 17–18 million after this season and would be 11–12 after next iirc. I I’ve thought next year was the crucial year for him becaue of the buyout but that was barring a disaster season, like 3 wins or less. You can’t take that off the table after tonight.

Let’s get it straight. The Defense was so bad that the offense would have had to be perfect. They were far from it. The line of scrimmage was dominated by UM on both sides of the ball. Wait until they start Big10 play, how ugly can it get? I see 80-0 Michigan again in the future.

I said it months ago. The loss of talent on D in the Portal { Walker, Bo Mascoe, Henderson etc.} was far far better than the talent brought in. The Linebackers brought in Yikes. Not B1G caliber.

This article. And the quotes attributed to Schiano sum up his tenure. “Didn’t see it coming”. Really? It’s your job to see it coming. It’s your job not to be surprised by anything. This team was the most ill prepared team I have seen in any sport on any level. This coaching staff took UMass for granted and didn’t prepare for this game. They overlooked UMass. They had no answers on all 3 phases of the game. Rutgers looked confused on both O and D.

Ash was way worse in every way, doesn't excuse last night at all but Politi just wants drama and clicks. Buffalo, EMU, KU, and on. He never won (opposed to GS and even KF) on top of it.
