Thankful that First Flight was able to secure charter buses for the trip. Safe travels to them in the morning. I agree that asking a school bus driver to make the return overnight trip would be too risky.
I'd say game is still on, they had some serious field drying attempts going on within the last hour or so

Hmm....What if they showed up on Wright Brothers style flyers from 1903 instead of charter buses?....they could even use them with the helicopters to supplement the field drying
Walked up to the gate 5 mins in and decided to save my money lol. See you boys in two weeks, I'm headed to the beach for Thanksgiving!

You’d think First Flight would have a kicker of some sort, being a soccer powerhouse and all... to go for it on 4th and 12 from your own 10 yard line is iffy.

I think the sulphuric orange and black smoke bombs that north sets off pregame are dumb. Two adults standing in the middle of the field holding them. A couple of weeks ago one of them burnt his hand pretty good. Just looks dorky.
Plus, we could have used the helicopter that came to dry the field off to return and blow that caustic smoke away. With the damp air, it just sort of lingered there. It finally blew away and a few minutes later the wind shifted and back it came.
Maybe next game we can put out a fog machine (think Scarowinds) and just have the football team rise up out of it. Spooky! (And equally dorky)

I don’t personally mind the smoke but I can understand the folks who hate it. My gripe is with the new PA system over the press box. Dear Lord, you can’t even hear what the person next to you is saying. I was really hoping the hurricane a few weeks ago would have ripped those speakers off the press box.
Agreed! The speakers don’t match up to the scoreboard speakers so the echo is hideous. And all the intro hype music loses its effectiveness.
Personally my issue is always with our wine and cheese crowd. They don't get up unless it's late in the 4th and we need to survive. Too late for that, should be up all game.
I do understand that most of them are up in years though, so don't wanna be too harsh. But that's why I like being around the student section, kinda gives me a false sense of security lol.

The lady behind me kept screaming “git him, git him!” Like her hair was on fire... Lady, the second and third string are in... chill the heck out!
And North fans never lose... it’s always the refs fault. Every sport. Never fails.
I say this as a life long North Davidson fan and alumnus.
