BYU at LSU already moved to Nawlins for the dome. Hope the flooding is okay.

I thought this had been moved to Dallas. They may regret New Orleans. Storm is supposed to make land fall AGAIN in Lake Charles. The dirty side is already hammering New Orleans.
Looks like Houston has about 8-10 more hours before the rain subsides. We can certainly use all prayers.

Water is receding in Cypress now. Hope it continues.

How bad was Cypress hit? That's where my brother lives. He's got a job where they can't afford to miss work, so his employer moved him up to Dallas last week but his wife refused to go live out of a hotel. I'm having trouble getting any information out of him as to how they are.

Not sure which dome you consider the death star, but I confirmed this morning that the BYU-LSU game is at the Superdome. Or is it Super Dome? But it's at the covered from rain stadium in New Orleans. I hope that BYU beats them, but after what we saw last weekend, not expecting much.

LSU might just have been lulled into thinking that a team that didn't pound a non-D1 doesn't have a chance. Or maybe BYU took poker lessons over the winter. Still never sure whether or not it's an advantage for the team that has already played one or the team who hasn't. But it has to be a culture shock for the Mormons to play against the most ungracious fan base in America, anywhere within Louisiana state lines.

You're right. Yesterday, they were still reporting it as being in Arlington at what I call the "Deathstar." Today, they do indeed show it being played in the Superdome (correctly spelled). 8:30p central time on ESPN

Looks sunny and warm in Norman for game. Temps 86-90 during game and getting breezier by second half. Not too bad all things considered.
@kcstorm06, that's terrible weather for a 2:30 kick in my opinion. The bevy of unacclimated folks will be dropping like flies in the sun with no wind. It's been years since we've had an opener kicked off at 2:30 and it was a hot mess, literally. But I will be there prepared to do battle with death and suffering just like always.

Can I put in a request for you to order up something in the 68-72 degree range?

Well it's only UTEP...that's one not to sweat Medic. We know Andrews will get some TDs and by half it should be a cushy lead. Hope defense pitches a shutout and gets a couple TDs too. Ready to see the young pups flying high and learning.
I don't care if it's Saint Mary's School for Blind Quadriplegics, I still want to be able to watch the game and not spend my time I'm being paid to be there figuring out what to do with the 56 overheated people who just had quadruple bypass surgery on Thursday after getting out of the hospital for double lung transplant on Monday.

I get that you won't change the weather for me, but at least be sensitive to my plight.

Lol ok hope for a 3 layer cloud deck then. Might shave off 5-10 degrees off peak heating. Then the infirm can rock on without getting the paddles....
