The first half stats are deceptive of the score. UofL out gained Auburn by 20 total yards (164-144) and first downs (13-9). If we can stop shooting ourselves in the foot, we have moved the ball well. We missed a field goal and fumbled the ball, both when we were in red zone. Let's see if we can turn this around in the second half.

If not for the questionable timeout UL may have pulled off the comeback win.

Or it wouldn't have been close if several questionable holding calls weren't called against AU with 2 first downs negated and a 71 yd. TD.

The holding call on that negated the long TD pass was about the easiest call the refs had all night. Center tackled blitzing LB from behind. If you're bitching about that call, you're an idiot.

I liked all the AU fans I met yesterday, very nice people.
But, they do expect certain things to happen, or not happen when playing in the South against a "lesser' team. An SEC thing, I suppose.

Auburn fans know they are in trouble. Hence the deflection to holding calls as an excuse. Not gonna hang with the Alabamas of CF if you can't pound an unranked team that gift wrapped the game for you.
